Meet our sponsors: MyLondonHome
MyLondonHome is delighted to be sponsoring this year’s Waterloo Festival at St John’s Waterloo.
For many years, MyLondonHome has worked in and around Waterloo, helping people buy and sell their homes, and in 2020, we finally opened our first Waterloo branch on Lower Marsh. We couldn’t be happier to be supporting St John’s Waterloo and Waterloo Festival this year.
The theme for this year’s festival is Respair, an old English word meaning the return of hope after a period of despair. Which is the perfect way to sum up where we are right now, after the events of the last year.
This time last year, we were all thrown into a situation none of us had experienced before. This past year has been tough on everyone, but now as more restrictions are slowly being relaxed, we can finally enjoy being part of the community again. We opened our first ever Waterloo office in the midst of the pandemic. So it’s going to be great to finally get out and meet the local community.

St John’s Waterloo lies at the centre of the community here in Waterloo. It’s an amazing space steeped in history and has weathered many storms. The refurbishments starting this year (after the festival) are going to transform this historic church into an accessible, sustainable hub; a place where everyone can flourish.
We’re looking forward to getting to know St John’s and all the work it does for our communities. We’ll be taking the opportunity of this year’s Waterloo Festival to see the church one more time before the big renovation and look forward to attending some of the great concerts, art exhibitions and talks lined up.
We really hope to meet you there and if you are passing the MyLondonHome office in Lower Marsh at any time, please drop in and say hello. You don’t need to be buying or selling, we’d just like to meet you!
